Client Accounts

The Client Accounts form can be accessed for a selected client or it can be used to display accounting entries for all clients.

Standard accounting entry types for recording:

  • Fee charges
  • Outlay charges
  • Receipts from client and other credits
  • Write-offs, write-ons and other account adjustments

The balance of all entries in the Client Accounts form is shown in the Active Client Panel in the Main Window, which allows the user to see the balance of the client’s account the moment the client’s file is opened. Any changes are instantly updated to the panel.

The Client Accounts window is, by design, simple and easy to use. There are no balance sheets or profit and loss accounts in Migration Manager. Migration Manager adopts more or less a cashbook approach - a simplified accounting system - a straightforward account of the relevant charges to clients’ accounts and payments received from the client. Using Reports Interface, users can easily export this financial data into a format capable of being imported into accounting applications such as MYOB and QuickBooks (or just e-mail it to your accountant and let him worry about it!).
